Paolo Zanaboni is a senior researcher at the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research. He has been working at the centre since 2010. He holds a PhD in Management Engineering with a thesis focused on assessment of telemedicine. His research interests are e-health, telemedicine, welfare technology, chronic diseases, rehabilitation, physical activity and health technology assessment.
A topic of interest is the adoption of routine telemedicine. He is involved in a number of research projects on telerehabilitation to deliver home-based training to chronic patients. Worthy to mention is a multicentre RCT (iTrain-study) on long-term home rehabilitation in COPD. He is member of the research group Physical activity and public health at the School of Sport Sciences, UiT The Arctic University of Norway.
