Webinar: Apps that help you take care of your health
Dillys Larbi and Vidar Schei Johansson research apps that help people achieve better health.

To build a sustainable healthcare system, it's important that people adopt research-based apps that promote their health. There are several strategies for how these apps can help you, and in this webinar we will look at two apps that use different methods.

PhD student Dillys Larbi at the Norwegian Center for E-health Research is working on a chatbot that acts as your personal trainer and friend. Through her research, Larbi is helping to develop the chatbot iteratively, based on user preferences and needs. This self-help approach can be applied to several areas of digital home care.

Physical therapist specialist Vidar Schei Johansson recently submitted a master's degree on mobile health technology (m-health) and rehabilitation at Nord University. He has researched an app that functions as both a follow-up platform for professionals and a self-help app for patients. Johansson has gathered experiences on usability, the app as a communication platform and how it can support rehabilitation goals.
