Our patients are everywhere and so are their medication lists!
Patients' medication lists (PLL) is being implemented in hospitals and in home care. First in Helse Vest, and now they are beginning in Helse Nord. This is an important and exciting project, which is why researchers are collecting patients' and health care workers' experiences regarding the implementation process. What is the experience so far?
Start mapping: which stakeholders are affected by the patient's medication list (PLL), and what systems do they use? Creating a plan is a big part of working with PLL.
Several studies are currently underway, each covering a different aspect of the implementation of the patient medication list (PLL). This webinar will give you an overview of the findings so far. The experiences and effects gathered now will be of benefit to other regions and institutions that are implementing the PLL now and in the future.
Three studies were presented during this webinar:
- PLL and the core journal in nursing homes and home care
- PLL in the hospital
- PLL in Northern Norway
We examine different aspects of the implementation such as work processes, time spent, inconsistencies, collaboration, responsibility, quality and technological prerequisites.
Presentation by senior researcher and registered nurse Unn Sollid Manskow from the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research.
