Collaboration on patients' goals for their own health

When the patient's goals for their own health are gathered in a digital self-treatment plan, how is it experienced by all partners involved? What is the national status of new digital tools?

Get a glimpse of what the future may hold!

Webinar: Digital treatment plans
Martine Minge Tveitan and Ronny Holten Olsen provided insights about the use of self-management plans in digital remote care and the development of digital self-management plans.

Digital treatment and self-management plans are still somewhat immature. That's why researchers and the Norwegian Health Network are hunting for the right tools and methods to make them successful.

Holistic patient pathways require good collaboration tools so that information flows between all healthcare professionals involved and the patient. Digital treatment and self-management plans are an attempt to solve this challenge.

This webinar consists of two parts.

  1. First, Martine Minge Tveitan will present her PhD project and some tendencies she sees in her research so far. She is investigating the role of self-management plans in digital home care by conducting interviews with healthcare professionals, providers and patients.
  2. We also hear from Ronny Holten Olsen about the work Norwegian Health Network is doing to implement digital treatment plans and self-management plans. Who's involved so far, and how are they working on this step by step?
