Digital home monitoring in Lofoten, Vesterålen, and Salten
How can digital home monitoring contribute to better healthcare services, even in rural areas with long distances? This was the topic of the webinar on October 10.
In this webinar, we heard how Nordland Hospital and the municipalities of Lofoten, Vesterålen, and Salten are collaborating on the coordinated introduction of digital home monitoring.
Through the use of shared solutions, a model is being developed that provides patients with follow-up care at home, while also contributing to more efficient use of resources in the healthcare service. The services are offered in rural regions long distances.
So far, 180 patients have participated in the programme. In the webinar, we heard about experiences from the work and how it is facilitated for sharing and further development.
