Webinar: Digital health literacy – the healthcare sector's gold mine of the future
How can municipalities build digital expertise that improves patient care and streamlines services? This was the topic of the webinar on 21 November.
At a time when technology is rapidly changing the way we deliver healthcare services, digital health literacy is becoming an important resource in the development of sustainable health and care services. In this webinar, we gain insight into recent findings from a qualitative study conducted in four municipalities.
Through 12 focus group interviews with a total of 59 participants, the study examines how managers, implementation managers and employees close to patients understand and use digital health literacy, and where the need for training and support is greatest. The results reveal a significant and complex need for competence at all levels. The report specifies 14 recommendations that can help municipalities develop targeted competence programmes, strengthen management and organisational development, and facilitate the safe and effective use of technology in everyday life.
