Webinar: Drug app for managing narcotic and addictive medication
How can an app and a camera be used to double-check narcotic and addictive medications in a hospital? This was the topic of the webinar on May 16.
The handling of addictive medicines and narcotics in hospitals must be thoroughly controlled to avoid errors. In this webinar, we heard how an app and the use of cameras can help to double-check and document this handling.
The solution is being tested at the Orthopedic Department at the University Hospital of North Norway. With the help of innovation funding, the developers want to create a solution that provides value for both hospitals and other independent units in the healthcare system.
