The theme of this webinar was the history of AI at Helse Midt. There were examples from radiology and diagnostics, as well as a discussion about the path from needs to a service. The speaker also touched on sustainable AI, applied research and synthetic data for training AI models.

Endre Grøvik researches the use of AI in radiology and diagnostics.

The cancer department at Helse Møre og Romsdal has received help from AI since 2021. At this webinar, you can hear about projects that the ‘AI in Medical Imaging’ research group has underway. For example, marking risk organs when radiotherapy is being planned or diagnosing brain cancer by analysing images. The webinar also discuss how AI models can be transferred to other situations and diseases.

Presentation by Endre Grøvik, research leader for ‘AI in Medical Imaging’ at Helse Møre og Romsdal, and researcher at NTNU. Endre has experience as an AI researcher at Stanford University and is involved in several national and international projects in AI and medical imaging.
