Webinar: Implementing Artificial Intelligence – understanding the skills required for ethical practice
How can we ensure the responsible and ethical implementation of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector? And what skills are actually required to address the ethical challenges that arise? These were the topics discussed at this webinar.
In this webinar, we will focus on AI literacy within the context of health informatics. Recognising that technology, implementation processes and professional practice are ethically charged, we will explore what it means to develop the skills needed to handle artificial intelligence ethically.
This article draws on perspectives from the field of AI literacy, where competence is understood as more than just individual skills, but also as a social and cultural practice. We examine what the competent and responsible use of artificial intelligence might entail in professional contexts, and how ethical issues arise in the interaction between technology and practice.
The webinar is relevant for professionals, managers and decision-makers who work with or are interested in artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector.
