UiT The Arctic University of Norway has a PhD position in Computer Science vacant for a candidate committed to take the degree of Philosophy Doctor (PhD). The position is organized under the Department of Computer Science and is part of the multidisciplinary project “Befolkningsundersøkelser i nord. En tverrfakultær satsning ved UiT Norges arktiske universitet” – (“Population studies in the north. An interdisciplinary project at UiT The Arctic University of Norway”).

This computer science position is within the sub-project “Storskala infrastruktur for selvrapporterte data” (“Large-scale infrastructure for self-reported data”), which focuses on research and development of infrastructures for large-scale monitoring, recording, storage and analysis of self-reported health, lifestyle and biological data.

The main advisor for the PhD project will be Professor Gunnar Hartvigsen, UiT, UiA and the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research. Co-advisor will be Professor Eirik Årsand, Norwegian Centre for E-health Research.
