Extent and potential of using telemedicine in Sykehuset Innlandet

NST will implement a survey, where we will look at existing infrastructure, extent of use of telemedical services and study the potential of telemedical solutions in Sykehuset Innlandet HF's area of responsibility.

Goal

We will describe potential and extent of extended use of telemedical solutions for SI.

Objectives

It will be carried out as following:

1. Describe relevant connections to the health net and plans for further connections.

2. Survey of basic relationships and prerequisites for use of telemedicine in SI's area.

3. Survey and describe which requirements and disciplines in SI where telemedicine can profit and strengthen the hospitals' roll.

4. Survey today's distributions of telemedical equipment in Sykehuset Innlandet's area.

5. Describe and present ideas/plans for telemedical solutions for Sykehuset Innlandet.

6. Describe estimated investments and possible profit for the suggested solutions.
