Modernization of electronic patient record
We research the introduction and testing of electronic health records. The research takes place in projects built around the national pilot project Helseplattfomen, the national vision of One Citizen - One Health Record and the development of DIPS Arena.
The research highlights important topics such as electronic medication management systems (EMMS), semantic interoperability, process and decision support and consolidation of databases and standards. It is important to find synergies between the projects and to disseminate knowledge from these three areas. The research uses empirical data from regional projects where this is relevant for national development. The Norwegian Centre for E-health Research has published a number of relevant knowledge summaries over the past two years.
This research activity is a national collaboration between Nasjonal IKT, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, SINTEF and the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research.
