Tom Atle Bakke

Bio

Tom Atle Bakke, head of the administration department, has been working at the Centre since June 2012. He is responsible for the Centre’s Staff Support Department and for all administrative services at the Centre in the areas of budgeting, HR, IT and others. In cooperation with the Centre manager, he is responsible for organising and implementing the meeting structure for the Centre’s management and is a member of the Centre’s leadership team. He contributes to the Centre’s steering committee meetings by preparing cases and leading the meetings. He graduated from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, Oslo in 2004 majoring in organisation and management. He then worked as a consultant/office manager at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences for 8 years. Between 2009-2012, he was a Member of the Board at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. When he is not spending time with his family and two children, he is running, cycling and skiing around beautiful Tromsø.
