Steps with text. A steady leader, a solid foundation, a valuable solution, a shared roadmap.
As an innovation leader, the responsibility is tough. Step Up better equips you to lead your team from an idea to a viable solution.

A steady leader

Step Up consists of four parts, with the first three involving activities for a team to complete together. The fourth part, A steady leader, is developed for those who are leading innovation. It helps you understand what is required of you to lead innovation in the healthcare sector.

There are two activities in A steady leader. You can find them in the Step Up method handbook which you can download further down the page. The activities help you reflect on your role as an innovation leader. You can complete the activities on your own or with another leader and repeat them as needed.

Through self-reflection and sparring with other leaders,

  • you get to know your own strengths and weaknesses as a leader,
  • draw on the experiences of other leaders around you,
  • and gain the confidence that you can succeed.

Step Up also helps you to understand how to get your team involved throughout the process, to build trust in the group, and to motivate them to work well together. It gives you and your team the confidence to face any resistance that arises, and helps to handle stress along the way.

Use Step Up to successfully lead yourself and others in innovation.
