«NURTURE (Nurturing sustainability development goals through Higher Education Capacity Building in Ethiopia)»

NURTURE is a capacity building project within higher education. The project will better the capacity of three education programmes (e-health, informatics and people with special needs), at five universities in Ethiopia and two universities, UIO and USN and one research institute in Norway.

• 1 May 2021 – 30 April 2026
• Financed with 20 million NOK through NORHED II Programmet 2021-2026 (Norad)

Goals

NURTURE will among other result in three new master programmes, finance 45 master scholarships and 15 phd.

«NURTURE» will strenghten the quality of three educational areas in Ethiopia:

• e-health
• informatics
• education for people with special needs

The Sustainable Development Goals are sentral in this project where five Ethiopian universities are partners together with USN, UIO and the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research.
