Digital inclusion - a user perspective

The Norwegian Association for the Elderly and the Norwegian Association for the Blind represent a large proportion of users who face challenges when using digital health services. They shared their experiences and talk about the way forward in this webinar.

Digital inclusion - a user perspective
Arnt Beckstrøm Holte and Anne-Kari Minsaas want as many as possible to be able to use digital health services.

A few words about digital inclusion

At the webinar, Anne-Kari Minsaas pointed out that the municipality saves NOK 1 million if people live at home for another year. ‘Then I think the municipality can afford to organise things with welfare technology.'

‘Anyone who doesn't have access to or can't master technology is excluded from society,’ says Arnt Beckstrøm Holte. That's why universal design is paramount, and why municipalities have a statutory responsibility to offer training.

More information

For some of us, using digital health services is as easy and natural as breathing. However, there are many people who are excluded from the digital health community for various reasons. How can we increase the proportion of digitally included citizens, and what do they say about the services they receive?

The Norwegian Association for the Elderly and the Norwegian Association for the Blind are actively working for digital inclusion on behalf of their members. Ambassadors and user representatives highlight access to technology, accessibility and training as some of the most important issues. This webinar will give you an insight into the challenges faced by the 600,000 digitally excluded citizens and their views on the way forward for digital inclusion.
