Petter Thornam has worked with patient safety and improvement work for many years. The hospital won the national improvement award at the patient safety conference in 2019, and the quality award in Helse Vest in 2020. Thornam is particularly interested in projects that will contribute to better medication safety, such as the patient's medication list, where Bergen is the national pilot.
