The patient's medication list - first study
Get an insight into the challenges faced by doctors, nurses and pharmacists in the lecture by Unn Sollid Manskow and Truls Tunby Kristiansen.

Challenges faced by healthcare professionals in primary care in accessing pharmaceutical information, prior to the introduction of the Patient Medication List.

It is challenging for healthcare professionals to access drug information. The systems they use don't share important information and changes in drug treatment are not coordinated. A lot of time and resources are spent on this, which in turn can jeopardise patient safety and the quality of treatment.

Presentation by senior researcher and project manager Unn Sollid Manskow, and researcher and project employee Truls Tunby Kristiansen. Both are employed at the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research. They work with follow-up research on the patient's medication list and electronic health record in nursing homes and home care. In the webinar, they present findings from the first study. The researchers recently published an article on the topic in Pharmacy, you can read it here.
