Increased safety and mastery with digital remote care

Chronically ill patients who receive digital home monitoring feel safer and more in control of their illness. These are some of the findings presented in the recent final report from the national welfare technology programme. At this webinar, the Norwegian Directorate of Health will talk about the national welfare technology programme, Oslo Economics will present the main findings from the evaluation, and Oslo Municipality will share some of its experiences.

Increased safety and mastery with digital remote care
Siw Helene Myhrer, Susanna Sten-Gahmberg, and Hanne Eggen share lessons learned from the National Welfare Technology Programme.

For several years, the National Welfare Technology Programme has contributed to more municipalities adopting welfare technology in the health service. Oslo Municipality is one of the municipalities that has participated in the development and testing of various models for digital service pathways. The recommendation from the national welfare technology programme is that we should continue to invest in welfare technology and digital home follow-up. The City of Oslo is sharing ideas on how we can achieve this. In addition to the practical experiences from Oslo Municipality and their users, this webinar will include presentations from Oslo Economics on the results of the evaluation of digital home follow-up and from the Norwegian Directorate of Health on the project in general.

Presentation by senior advisor Siw Helene Myhrer from the Norwegian Directorate of Health, manager Susanna Sten-Gahmberg from Oslo Economics, and project manager Hanne Eggen from Grünerløkka neighborhood in Oslo municipality.

The project has published several reports and a video about their work:
