Training body and mind - digitally

At the webinar on 20 October, we explored digital alternatives for physical and social activity. Digital alternatives allow more people to do what is important to them, even if they are at home.

Webinar: Training body and mind - digitally
Linn Bylund and Paolo Zanaboni test and research a range of digital interventions for people living at home.
Participation is important! Regardless of which group you're working with, the group itself must set the framework and conditions for the work. Ownership ensures that they continue to participate.

Unfortunately, it can be difficult for some people to get to physical facilities such as activity centres or physiotherapists. In order to reach a higher level of participation and inclusion, it is therefore important to be able to offer digital alternatives. In this webinar, we'll get an insight into two programmes that are all about preventing and improving the health of patients and pensioners while they're at home.

Presentation by Linn Bylund, senior advisor at KUN Centre for Equality and Diversity, and Paolo Zanaboni, professor at Norwegian Centre for E-health Research.

Linn Bylund has collaborated with the Norwegian Association for the Elderly to offer a digital activity centre. The aim was to be sociable and at the same time increase the digital skills of pensioners living at home. Exercise for the soul, in other words.

Paolo Zanaboni is researching telerehabilitation - providing digital support for people with COPD to exercise at home. In this way, they will be better able to manage the disease themselves. Exercise for the body, in other words.

Digital offerings such as video meetings can contribute to fitness for body and soul. At the webinar on 20 October, you were able to get ideas on how to create similar offerings for home residents in your corner of the healthcare sector.
