Paolo Zanaboni

Bio

Paolo Zanaboni is a professor in telemedicine and e-health and has been working at the centre since 2010. He holds a PhD in Management Engineering with a thesis focused on assessment of telemedicine services. His research interests include:

1. digital health services for citizens (e-consultations with the general practitioner, patient accessible electronic health records)
2. telerehabilitation and remote monitoring of patients with chronic diseases
3. use of e-health interventions for physical activity and public health
4. adoption and diffusion of telemedicine and e-health interventions

His research projects are often conducted through randomized controlled trials (RCT) and health services research. He is member of the research group Telemedicine and e-health at the Department of Clinical Medicine, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, and the research group Physical activity and public health at the School of Sport Sciences, UiT The Arctic University of Norway.
