Methods to evaluate the effects of digital health services for citizens

Description

The project will be implemented according to the following activities.

1. Categorisation of existing e-health solutions for citizens.

2.1. Identification of methods: literature review focused on methods to evaluate/measure the effects of digital health services for citizens. A summary will include an overview of the relevant literature with descriptions of studies, methods, categories, indicators, interventions and actors.

2.2. Further development of methods: theoretical applicability of some methods from the literature review to measure the effects of e-health solutions for Norwegian citizens, focusing on two proposed digital health services.

3.1 Data collection on digital communication with the general practitioner and patient online access to electronic health records. 3.2. Data Analysis on digital communication with the general practitioner.

3.3. Data Analysis on patient online access to electronic health records.

Goals

The purpose of this project is to identify and develop methods to measure the effects of e-health solutions for citizens and test these on two digital health services. The two proposed digital health services are digital communication with the general practitioner and patient online access to electronic health records.
