Paolo Zanaboni

Bio

Paolo Zanaboni er seniorforsker ved Nasjonalt senter for e-helseforskning. Han har jobbet ved senteret siden 2010. Han har doktorgrad i teknisk ledelse, med en avhandling som fokuserte på utbredelse av telemedisin. Hans forskningsinteresser er e-helse, telemedisin, velferdsteknologi, kroniske sykdommer, rehabilitering, fysisk aktivitet og helseteknologivurdering. Et av temaene som er av spesiell interesse er rutinemessig bruk av telemedisinske tjenester. 

Han er involvert i en rekke forskningsprosjekter innen telerehabilitering og hjemmebasert opplæring for kroniske pasienter. Han har for eksempel ledet en randomisert, kontrollert multisenterstudie (iTrain) av hjemmerehabilitering for pasienter med kronisk obstruktiv lungesykdom (KOLS). Han er med i forskergruppen fysisk aktivitet og folkehelse på idrettshøgskolen ved UiT Norges arktiske universitet.
