Bio

Gro Rosvold Berntsen, (lege, dr.med) er sjefsforsker ved Nasjonalt senter for e-helseforskning. Hun begynte i e-helsefeltet i 2009. Hennes hovedfokus er utvikling og evaluering av pasientsentrerte helsetjenester med teknologi og helsetjeneseinnovasjon som verktøy. Hun er videre opptatt av kvalitet i helsetjenesten, pasientforløp ved komplekse og langvarige helsetjenestebehov og samhandling. Hun var forskningsdirektør ved Senter for klinisk dokumentasjon og evaluering (SKDE) fra 2005-2009. SKDE ble under hennes ledelse tildelt oppgaven som nasjonalt kompetansemiljø for kvalitetsregistre. Hun har en doktorgrad i benskjørhetsepidemiologi fra UiT Norges arktiske universitet, og var ferdig utdannet lege i 1994. Berntsen har også en bistilling ved avdeling for samfunnsmedisin ved UiT.
