Andrea Horvat Kramaric

Head of Communication and Spokesperson for the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control

Andrea is responsible for ECDC’s strategies for media, risk communication, and corporate and internal communication. She began her career in the Croatian administration where she held positions as Head of Unit and Head of Service for Economy, International Relations and EU Affairs, before moving to a career at the European Commission (EC). She ended her time at the EC as Head of Communication, Partnerships and Networks at the EC Representation in Croatia, before moving to Stockholm in 2019 to take up her current role at ECDC. Andrea holds master’s degrees in economics and European Studies.
