Inez de Kruijf-Carter

Inez de Kruijf-Carter is based at KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation in the Netherlands and focuses on coordination of Global DAT Task Force activities; digital health interventions; and developing stigma reduction interventions. She has degrees in counselling psychology; and community and health psychology. Much of her approach is focused in ensuring interventions are framed around end user needs, context and experience, to ensure the sustainability and relevance of interventions.
Within the role of Global DAT Task Force Coordinator, Inez has focused on, amongst others, providing technical assistance and guidance to national TB programmes and implementing partners for the introduction and scale-up of DATs; hosting cross country learning workshops on the planning and scale up of DATs; co-ordinating a global community of stakeholders for the further evaluation of DATs, optimal introduction and scale-up of DATs, and the further innovation of these tools; and identifying and finding solutions for challenges and bottlenecks associated with implementation to ensure long term sustainability of digital interventions for adherence.
