Carl Leitner is the Technical Officer for Architecture and Informatics for WHO’s Digital Health and Innovation team. Dr. Leitner leads the use of standards for the SMART Guidelines approach and serves as the business owner for the Global Digital Health Certification Network. He was worked for over fifteen years in global digital health including the development, implementation and support to open-source digital health tools and standards development across a range of business domains in support of clinical health, public health and health system information needs.
