Visiting Senior Fellow at LSE Health, member of the leadership of ISPOR’s Special Task Force on Value-Based Healthcare Implementation, Giovanni is member of the board of advisors of a global digital agency and a skin cancer tele-dermatology company. In addition, Giovanni advises healthcare services and diagnostic companies in the US and Europe on how to bring personalized healthcare and prevention in the community and at home.

A former Senior Vice President responsible for Healthcare Services at Walgreens Boots Alliance, Giovanni founded award winning digital health platforms visited hundreds of millions of times, led healthcare services and partnerships including in primary care and diagnostic, and developed several innovative pharmacy services (e.g. pharmacogenomics). Already board member or board observer of technology and healthcare companies, associations and academic institutions.

A speaker at international events, Giovanni is also an active contributor to books, podcasts, conferences, university lectures. Contributed to or participated in the Business Advisory Board for the Italian Presidency of the G20 (2021); Blue Button Developers Conference, Office of American Innovation at the White House (2019); Review on Antimicrobial Resistance commissioned by the UK Prime Minister (2014).
