Galit is the Head of Data Science at Clalit Innovation, the research and innovation division of Clalit Health Services. Clalit is the largest HMO in Israel, caring for 52% of Israel’s population. Galit is in charge of utilizing Clalit's big data to create Artificial Intelligence products and perform cutting-edge research that improves patients’ health. Galit has been a data scientist in the healthtech industry for over a decade, leveraging her background as a software developer and her academic experience in research and statistics. Previously, she was a Data Scientist with Elminda, a brain-tech company developing an electro-physiology based functional brain mapping, imaging and monitoring technology. Galit holds a B.Sc in Statistics and a B.A in Psychology from Tel Aviv University and a M.A and Ph.D in Neuroscience from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
