Nuno Costa has more than 20 years of experience in public procurement in the health area, with special emphasis on digital public procurement.

Winner of the Pan-European award in the digital area for public procurement with a project dedicated to the digital area of strategic and management information for public procurement in healthcare

The development of new technologies has contributed in recent years to the creation of a more competitive environment in public procurement. In this sense, a public procurement system in now based on information systems that takes the global stage in which public administration relates to the market and are accountable to the citizen.

The electronic procurement is an instrument that allows public actors to be accounted while contributing to a significant increase in transparency and reducing the level of corruption in procurement increasing the degree of trust in the system by market operators.
