Professor Rachel Dunscombe is the CEO of OpenEHR, former CEO of the NHS Digital Academy and former CIO of NCA Salford NHS Group which has been awarded the title of the NHS’s most digitally mature organisation. In her policy role she has provided the lead AI health policy advisory for the AI council and advisory services to the Secretary of State for Health in the UK.. Rachel has received a visiting professorship at Imperial College, London and is an editor at BMJ Leader. She has led services to enable health delivery for hospitals, community services and social care both regionally and at a international level.
