Pavle Zelic

Master of Science in Pharmacy, communicator, and certified diplomat

Creative, passionate, and result-driven expert and manager in communications, pharmacy, public health, and storytelling with substantial international experience. For over 14 years has been the widely recognized as Serbia’s leading public health official and international expert, project leader, and communicator with focus on risk and crisis communications with thousands of media reports to his name and many lectures around the world on conferences and in universities. Also accomplished author - writer and scriptwriter with several books and graphic novels published and movie scripts in production. Educated at Faculty of Pharmacy, Belgrade University, Serbia 1998-2005, Diplomatic Academy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia 2010-11 and Emory University, Rollins School for Public Health 2021-22. Since 2009 employed at Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia (ALIMS), Belgrade, Serbia as International Cooperation, European Integration and Communications Manager. Also worked in Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC) - Center for Global Health (CGH) – Communications Division, as Communication specialist and consultant in 2022, and Task force for Global Health, both in Atlanta, US. Hired as expert and consultant for WHO, Council of Europe and other institutions. Managed and coordinated several major EU, CoE and WHO projects and campaigns in fields of pharmacy and environmental and public health in Serbia, Balkan region and Europe. Published several scientific papers on communications, pharmacy and public health. Awarded several times for his accomplishments in fields of pharmacy, public health and the arts.
