Vincent Dupont

Owner and founder of DHS (Dupont Health Solutions)

For over 25 years, economist Vincent Dupont has been fascinated in how IT technology and business transformation are modernising the Health industry. Passionate by innovation and digital transformation in Health, he’s a well-known public speaker in Health and key opinion leader.

He participated in various start-up boards and has a well-proven experience in driving innovation partnerships. After working 10 years at Microsoft he decided to pursue his career as “intrapreneur” focussing full time on innovation and digital transformation in the global Health economy.

Currently, he holds a mandate for the spearhead cluster MEDVIA, an industry driven network set up as a public private partnership with the Flemish government, stimulating innovations in healthcare. In his role, he facilitates and supports collaborations between companies, knowledge centres, universities, hospitals and other healthcare institutions in biotech – medtech and digitech.

Previously, he was appointed to run the national eHealth project as a portal for citizens and patients Mijngezondheid for the Belgian Ministry of Health, launched May 3rd, 2018. Meanwhile, he managed various roles as strategic advisor in primary and secondary care organisations in health (Curando, Z-Plus, WGK, various hospitals). Today, he’s leading the technical merger for E17-ziekenhuisnetwerk, migrating 7 hospitals to one tenant – one domain.

In 2006 Vincent Dupont joined the Belgian Microsoft subsidiary and moved to the Western European operations for leading the Health Industry across 13 countries. His focus was on industry market development and developing the partner ecosystem.

Dupont is an entrepreneurial self-made man with a deep passion for Health, native EU citizen (born in Belgium) and by default a polyglot (speaking 5 languages), his personal life reflects a very strong business acumen, people knowledge and being very results-driven. He’s an energy-giver and very loyal and pragmatic team player. His drive is inspirational as intrapreneur adding a strong growing mind and highly developed EQ, being recognized as a top performer.

Dupont In his free time likes running and travelling. In his current position, he’s the owner and founder from DHS|Dupont Health Solutions. Being an entrepreneur, he recently created as co-founder from start-up PatientSupportR focusing on cross border health data exchange.

As seasoned international Subject Matter Expert in Health, he’s strongly engaged and an ambassador for HIMSS Inc. & HIMSS Europe and regular speaker for the Surrey Business School | University of Surrey (UK).

Currently he’s a Guest Lecturer for eHealth at the KdG Hogeschool and Odisee - University of Applied Sciences.
