Ilona Kickbusch

Professor Ilona Kickbusch is the Director of the Digital Transformation of Health LAB (DTH-LAB) at the University of Geneva.

She is a widely recognized expert on global health governance. She publishes widely and serves on many commissions and boards. She was co-chair of the Lancet FT Commission on “Governing health futures 2030: growing up in a digital world.” She is Council Chair to the World Health Summit in Berlin and vice-president of the European Health Forum Gastein. Professor Kickbusch has had a distinguished career with the World Health Organization. She has been awarded the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundesverdienstkreuz) and the WHO Medal for contributions to global health.
