Stein Olav Skrøvseth is director of the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research, a position which he has held since 2016. Dr. Skrøvseth has a PhD in physics and has worked as a researcher and data scientist in healthcare for several years. His research has mainly been focused on statistical methods and machine learning in healthcare. He was guest researcher at IBM TJ Watson research laboratory, New York in 2013-2014 and postdoc at University of Sydney, Australia in 2008.
