Health Analytics knowledge raising

Description

The project will perform a knowledge summary in health analytics with focus on artificial intelligence and machine Learning.

Concepts like artificial intelligence and machine learning have attracted a lot of interest in recent years and the "hype" around these technologies is significant. There is an increasing expectation in society and in the health service related to the potential in these technologies to be able to address key societal challenges due to demographic challenges, availability of health workers and citizens who expect personalized health services.

Vendors use the terms in marketing their solutions and products. It can be unclear what really lies in the meaning and possibilities of these concepts for citizens, municipalities and hospitals. This project will help clear the concepts while helping to relate the machine learning field to the national eHealth Strategy and Action Plan.

Goals

The project will help to better understand what health analytics is and how it can be useful to the health service.
