Andrius Budrionis
Bio
Andrius Budrionis, postdoc researcher, has been with the centre since 2012. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Software Engineering from Vilnius University, Lithuania. In 2015 Andrius defended his PhD thesis at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. During his career as a researcher Andrius worked with technology challenges in both primary and secondary healthcare services. He is interested in communication mechanisms in healthcare, effect evaluation of telemedical/e-health systems and their acceptance in practice. Currently he is working on adoption of the Learning Healthcare System paradigm in Norway, which promises faster progression of research results into clinical practice and improved adaptation to individual patient needs.
