Bo Wang, MD, MPH, Advisor at the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research, Ph.D Research Fellow at Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Care, Molde University College. She is committed to biopsychosocial approach of medicine and advocates for mental health awareness and de-stigmatization of mental illness. Her ongoing doctoral research focuses on piloting a peer-delivered digital mental health service (mobile health app) for persons with serious mental illness, i.e., schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, and treatment-resistant major depressive disorder. Her other project roles include: E-peer support approach for mental health among Norwegian indigenous youth (Project Leader); Shared medication list and medication management (Project Associate); Patient Accessible Electronic Health Records (Project Associate); Online Record Access in Psychiatric Care (Project Associate).
Bo Wang is skilled in evidence-based medicine, data analysis, scientific writing, and public lecturing. Her research is published in leading journals in the field of digital health and psychiatry such as Journal of Medical Internet Research, BMC Health Services Research, BMC Psychiatry, International Journal of Medical Informatics, Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, International Journal of Mental Health Systems, etc.
