WHO samarbeidssenter

Nasjonalt senter for e-helseforskning er et offisielt samarbeidssenter for Verdens Helseorganisasjon (WHO) innen digital helse og telemedisin. Dette innebærer at senteret gir råd til WHO og dets medlemsland om IKT i helsetjenesten.

Samarbeidet går tilbake til 1997. Den formelle samarbeidsavtalen (Terms of Reference) ble inngått i 2002. Senterets inneværende avtaleperiode varer fra september 2022 til september 2024.

Hvert andre år utarbeides en detaljert handlingsplan hvor samarbeidssenteret (NSE) og WHO blir enige om hvilke aktiviteter som skal gjøres av senteret. Aktivitetene i handlingsplanen er basert på organisasjonenes ønsker og medlemslandenes behov.

Handlingsplan for 2022-2024:

1. Inform WHO’s work on the development of technical guidance for digital health
2. Support WHO’s activities towards strengthening capacity building for digital health in support of WHO's priorities
3. Support WHO's efforts towards enhancing technical cooperation among, as well as awareness raising and advocacy within, regional digital health stakeholders.

3. Health Technology (including laboratory services; but excluding blood safety)
