Phuong Dinh Ngo
Phuong D. Ngo received the Petronas scholarship to study his bachelor program in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology Petronas, Malaysia and graduated in 2008. He was then awarded the Vietnam Education Foundation Fellowship to pursue his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, USA. After completing his Ph.D. degree in 2016, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science and Technology, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. In his postdoc project, he developed smart algorithms for controlling blood glucose in patients with type-1 diabetes. His research interests are reinforcement learning, machine learning, intelligent systems and nonlinear control and how to apply them in health science.
